Caustic Finder

Author: Robert W. Schmidt, rschmidt1 at users dot sourceforge dot net
This program is an open source implementation of the analytical
method by Witt (1990,1991) in gravitational microlensing to find the
locations of critical curves and caustics for an abritrary number of
stars.

The program is written in C. You will need to have the GNU Scientific
Library installed to compile the program, only the source code is
provided at present. The Makefile currently also assumes gcc as a
compiler, but this can be modified.

caustic-finder-1.0 was released 9-2-2008 under the GNU public license.
It is hosted at SourceForge.net Logo. Download here.

Example for kappa_continuous=0, gamma=0.3 and 10 stars:

 2.05 -1.01
-1.16 -0.97
-3.00  2.60
-2.13  0.17
-2.00 -1.74

 0.30  2.67
 2.93  2.36
 1.88  0.41
